Sochi becomes barrier-free for handicapped

Over 1,400 facilities in Sochi have become barrier-free to be used by handicapped people. Experts of the International Paralympic Committee and Russian public organizations for the handicapped praised executives for the progress, said Sochi Vice Mayor Sergey Yurchenko, Yuga.ru reports.Transportation and social infrastructure, public and administrative buildings, sports and recreation centers, consumer and cultural places were made barrier-free.
