Today, the parliament of Kabardino-Balkaria approved the decision of the republic's government on buying more shares of Spartak Nalchik FC for 61 million rubles.
Early in January 2014 the acting Sport and Tourism Minister of the republic, Aslan Afaunov, declared that because of the difficult financial situation, Spartak was withdrawing from the football championship.
"The government decided to acquire to the state ownership of Kabardino-Balkaria 610 thousand stocks of Spartak-Nalchik," the head of the state committee of Kabardino-Balkaria for land and property questions, Anna Tonkonog said. According to her, this is necessary to preserve the club and increase its efficiency.
