Valery Gazzayev, Head of the organizing committee of the joint Russia-Ukraine football league, expressed hope that the situation in Ukraine would normalize in the near future, Sport-Express reports.
He reminded that the joint championship was a sports and commercial project, not political. Gazzayev noted that it would benefit both Russia and Ukraine.
