US attorney Michael Garcia (New York Attorney General in 1998-2006) has arrived in Zurich to question FIFA President Sepp Blatter and other official over picks of the FIFA 2018 and 2022 World Cup hosts, Sports.ru reports.
The attorney cannot investigate the process in Russia because he is among the 18 US functionaries of the “Guantanamo list” and cannot enter Russia. His deputy Cornel Borbely will make investigations in Russia instead.
