At today's press conference ahead of the match of the 23rd round of the Russian Premier League between Krylia Sovetov FC and Terek FC, chief referee Timur Arslanbekov stated that the game will not take place today at the stadium "Metallurg" in Samara. The League's leadership and the main broadcaster will determine a new date for the match in accordance with the regulations of the Premier League.
"Because of a force majeure, it is impossible to hold the match in terms of security. The match will not take place. This decision is taken collectively. It was taken by me as a referee and by my team, together with the delegate of the match. It is unfortunate that the game will not take place," Chempionat.com quotes Arslanbekov.
As VK previously reported, the option to reschedule the game because of the poor quality of the pitch was considered earlier.
