Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has met President of the European Olympic Committee Patrick Hickey today, Trend reports.
Hickey noted that the 3rd session of the Coordinating Committee for the Baku-2015 European Games had been an efficient platform for discussions of Azerbaijan’s preparations to host the Games. The European official expressed satisfaction with progress Azerbaijan had reached in the process.
The sides exchanged opinions about prospects for cooperation of Azerbaijan and the European Olympic Committee.
