Sergey Vorobyov, the F-1 Grand Prix promoter of Russia, denied rumours about the race being moved to Azerbaijan, RIA Novosti reports.
He noted that Sochi will host the Grand Prix on October 12, 2014. The promoter added that construction of the track was going according to plan, the building of teams and the medical center were ready. Details about ticket sales will be announced on May 20, according to the official.
The Grand Prix will be the first F-1 race organized in Russia.
