Gaji Gajiyev has resigned as the chief coach of the Anzhi FC over the failure of the club in the premier league. The team was the last in the chart of the 2013/2014 season and entered the National Football League, RIA Novosti reports.
Gajiyev called 2013 and 2014 very complicated years and the toughest football season of his life.
Gajiyev moved from Krylya Sovetov to Anzhi in August 2013. The 68-year-old specialist cooperated with the Makhachkala team three times, helping the team become fourth in the top division in 1999. Gajiyev trained FC Saturn Ramenskoye, FC Volga Nizhny Novgorod and was a member of the headquarters of the national team.
