Azerbaijan ranked third in the junior team event at the 30th Rhythmic Gymnastics European Championships in Baku. Azerbaijan scored a total of 94.364 points, Azerbaijani news agency Trend reports.
Russia ranked first with 96.815 points, while Belarus settled for the second place with 94.715 points.
Azerbaijani gymnast Jala Piriyeva scored a total of 63.565 points on all performances. She received 16.100 points for the composition with a hoop, 15.366 points for performance with a ball, 15.983 and 16.116 points for the exercises with clubs and a ribbon, respectively.
Another leading gymnast of the Azerbaijani team, Zuleikha Ismayilova, received a total of 61.073 points on all performances. The gymnast received 15.083 points for the performance with a hoop, 15.266 points for the composition with a ball, 15.191 and 15.533 points for the exercises with clubs and a ribbon, respectively.
