Kazakhstani sportsman Gennady Golovkin is going to remain world champion in boxing after defeating Australia's Daniel Geal.
Golovkin dropped Geale in the second round and then dusted him in the third with a right hand. Geale made it to his feet, but he was all over the place on unsteady legs, and referee Michael Ortega stopped the fight at 2 minutes, 43 seconds.
The Kazakh boxer competed in the middleweight (75 kg) division at the 2004 Summer Olympics, where he won silver medal. Currently undefeated as a professional, he is the reigning WBA and IBO middleweight champion.
