Azerbaijan's Leyla Aliyeva wins silver medal in Nanjin

Azerbaijani judo wrestler Leyla Aliyeva has won the country's first medal at the 2nd Youth Olympic Games held in Nanjin.

 

The athlete won the silver in the women's up to 44 kg section. Her competitor, Turkey's Melisa Cakmakli, came first and took gold.

 

Russia's Anastasiya Turcheva won bronze.

 

Another Russian athlete, Ivan Ilyin, has won the country's first gold medal, as Vestnik Kavkaza reported earlier.
