Musa Mogushkov wins bronze in Chelyabinsk

During the third day of the judo competitions of the World Cup held in Chelyabinsk, the haul of medals of the Russian national team was replenished with a bronze award. Musa Mogushkov, a judoist from Ingushetia, defeated a Kazakh athlete and won third place in the weight category up to 73 kg. The 26-year-old athlete devoted the victory to his mother, who supported him after his unsuccessful performance at the 2012 Olympic Games in London. "When I fought, I remembered my mother. Also I devote the medal to her. Without it I had no right to return from the championship, I understood it already when got into the national team," ITAR-TASS quotes Mogushkov. The judoist also noted the increased level of the competition in the weight category, and also the unpredictability of the competitions in Chelyabinsk.
