Anatoly Vorobyov, the Secretary General of the Russian Football Union, suggested gathering all players of the national team into one club and make it play in the Russian Premier League ahead of the 2018 FIFA World Cup.
“We cannot hope that football stars will appear in our football in the next 3 years. Only perfect cooperation between players can give us a chance in the World Cup. We should find competitive advantages. One such advantage could be a home club Russia-2018,” Vorobyov said.
