An unnamed Russian businessman specializing in the petroleum sector, possibly Suleyman Kerimov (owner of Anzhi FC), has purchased Italy’s Parma FC for about 50 million euros, about 43 million of which were paid to cover the club’s debts. Sports Director of the club Pietro Leonardi confirmed the information, Yuga.ru reports.The club was ranked last after 14 tours in the A series, scoring only 6 points. The club was ranked 6th in the Italian championship and made it to the UEFA Europa League. It did not get a UEFA license due to its poor financial state.Documents for the purchase will be signed on December 11.
