Russia may revoke status of mercenary football players from countries of EaEU

Russian Minister for Sports Vitaly Mutko said today that the mercenary status of football players from EaEU countries may be revoked. He concluded that it was time to form protection of interests of national football teams, Sports.ru reports.


Belarus, Kazakhstan, Russia, Armenia and Kyrgyzstan are members of the EaEU. Tajikistan shows interest in joining it.
