Football Federation of Ukraine did not respond to the invitation of the youth national team to take part in the upcoming Commonwealth Cup. This was stated by Deputy Director of the CIS Cup Igor Kiselev.
On Friday January 16 in St. Petersburg the Commonwealth Cup is starting. These competitions have been held since 1992. At first champion teams of the countries that emerged after the collapse of the Soviet Union participated in it, but from 2012 awards are taken by youth teams of these countries.
