Kabardino-Balkaria will host the 5th stage of the Russian Alpine Skiing Cup in Trans-Elbrus on February 12-15. The stage consists of super-G and giant slalom, Yuga.ru reports.The competition was organized by the Alpine Ski and Snowboard Federation of Russia and Kabardino-Balkaria, Kurort-Elbrus, Northern Caucasus Resorts, Elbrus LLC., Kabardino-Balkarian ministries for sports, resorts and tourism and the administration of the Elbrus Municipal District.All sections of the Azau-Mir track will remain open for tourists. The cableway of Kurort Elbrus will remain operational. Over 100 athletes will take part in the competition. Teams will start arriving to Trans-Elbrus on February 11. The first events will start in Azau on February 12.
