Work on the reconstruction of Moscow's Luzhniki Stadium should be completed in 2016. This was stated by deputy mayor for urban policy and construction Marat Khusnullin.

According to Khusnullin, earlier it had been planned to finish reconstruction in 2017, but now because of the difficulties encountered in the economy, the Moscow city government had to strengthen the night shift to make the main volume of construction work in 2016.
