Russian Vice Prime Minister Igor Shuvalov said at a council on construction of stadiums for the 2018 FIFA World Cup today that there should be no mediators in the construction process. A working group formed under assistance of the Russian Ministry for Industry and Commerce studies import displacement opportunities of the construction, as proposed by Minister for Sports Vitaly Mutko, chemical products and metallurgy, TASS reports.
Mutko said that about 70% of equipment was imported, 20% could be displaced without adjustments in documents or 40% with adjustments. 90% of metallurgy needed for the construction could be purchased from national manufacturers.
