Russian president meets with head of International Olympic Committee

Russian President Vladimir Putin has met with President of the International Olympic Committee Thomas Bach today. Putin thanked Bach for support during preparations for the Olympic Games and plans to keep in touch with the IOC chief, TASS reports.

Bach expressed confidence that the Olympics would promote the development of sports. He assured that the Sochi Olympic Games created conditions for other world championships and international competitions in Russia.
