Today in Moscow was hosted a presentation of European games Baku-2015. The event began with a film about the upcoming sports festival in the capital of Azerbaijan, then the Minister of Sports of the Republic Azad Rahimov said another presentation of the Games will be held in Moscow in the framework of the Week of Azerbaijan.
The Minister said that Azerbaijan hopes for medals in judo, taekwondo, boxing, rowing and gymnastics. "I do not want to think ahead, but we have guidelines which we will stand for," -he said, referring to the previous results of the republic at the Olympics and its place in the sports galaxy of Islamic countries, reports the correspondent of Vestnik Kavkaza.
He also said that each of the national teams will train in their own sports center. Media settlement is prepared for journalists with low prices for accommodation and meals, registration is now open. Most of the preparatory work for the whole European games will be completed by the end of February.
