Russian Semyon Paulichenko won the gold medal of the European Championship and the final of the World Cup in the luge, which is taking place in Sochi.
After two attempts he showed a result of 1 minute 44.020 seconds.
Another Russian, Alexander Peretyagin, came second (1.44,252), third was German Felix Loch (1.44,339).
