Azerbaijan shock Turkey, Armenia go top of Euro 2012 Group B

Azerbaijan beat Guus Hiddink's Turkey 1-0 in Baku on Tuesday evening to record a historic victory and pick up their first points in their Euro 2012 qualifying campaign.Rashad Sadygov's first-half goal gave the hosts all three points, RIA Novosti reports.

Armenia followed up Friday's 3-1 home win over Slovakia with a 4-0 defeat of minnows Andorra. The win puts the Armenians top of Group B on 7 points. Russia, who have 6 points, play Macedonia in Skopje later on Tuesday. Slovakia and Ireland, both also on six points, likewise meet later this evening.
