Russian Minister for Sports Vitaly Mutko has commented on the opening of a disciplinary case against the Russian football team over the behaviour of fans during the Montenegro vs. Russia match within the framework of the UEFA Euro 2016 qualifying rounds. He said that the Russian Football Union should monitor the behaviour of fans during games as the organization responsible for organizing games, Sports.ru reports.
The minister reminded that he had asked fans to behave properly. Regular dialogue with fans should be conducted by the Football Union, added Mutko. He warned that three home matches held without their own fans would be a very serious punishment.
