The leader of the Azerbaijani team in rhythmic gymnastics, Marina Durunda, brought a bronze medal in the latest stage of the World Cup in Romania. The athlete reached all four finals and took third place in the ribbon exercises, the Azerbaijan Gymnastics Federation said.
At the same time, Aisha Bayramova and Jala Piriyeva won awards at the Bucharest International Tournament: Bayramova won two silvers in the hoop and clubs exercises, as well as a bronze medal in the all-round category, Piriyeva took second place as a result of four exercises among juniors and she was the first in the final with a hoop.
