Dagestani boxers won three medals at an international tournament in Anapa on March 28 – April 4, according to Rashidbek Ahmedov, the senior coach of the Russian team, RIA Dagestan reports.
182 boxers from 20 countries competed for the medals. Russia was represented by 7 boxers. Muslim Gajimagomedov, a native of the Tlyaratinsky District of Dagestan, a member of the Ali Aliyev Boxing Academy in Makhachkala, won gold in the category under 81kg. Tamerlan Khangishiyev won silver in the category under 56kg, Tulpar Atayev won bronze in the category under 75kg.
