The Azerbaijani junior team performed at the European Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships in Minsk.
Ilaha Mamedova, Zuleikha Ismayilova, Daria Sorokina, Simara Jafarova and Fatima Jafarova presented their version of the group exercise with five balls.Their performance was rated at 15.6 points, which brought the Azerbaijani gymnasts to third place: the Russian junior team has 16.616 points and the hosts of the championship have 16.133 points.During the competitions two sets of medals among juniors will be awarded. The eight strongest teams will also compete for prizes in a separate exercise with five balls on Sunday.
