More than 10 thousand people have run the 'From Heart to Heart' marathon in Grozny.
Grozny hosted the second International Open Marathon 'Heart to Heart', joined by more than 10 thousand people from 14 regions of Russia, and from Turkey, Kazakhstan and Tajikistan, including women and the elderly, as well as athletes, amputees, hearing-impaired and disabled people with wheelchairs.
World-class athlete Andrey Safronov from Ufa won the marathon. Second place was taken by a master of sports from Moscow, Vladimir Safronov. Third was sports master Peter Ivanenko from Adygeya. The winner was awarded the grand prize, a Toyota Corolla car. The second and third places received 200 and 100 thousand rubles respectively.
