Russian gymnasts Yana Kudriavtseva and Margarita Mamun will represent Russia at the first European Games in Baku, according to Irina Viner-Usmanova, the chief coach of the Russian rhythmic gymnastics team, the president of the All-Russian Rhythmic Gymnastics Federation, TASS reports.
The athletes are currently participating in the World Cup in Tashkent (May 20-25).
Viner-Usmanova said that Russian athletes were motivated to perform well in any competitions, be it 'a grand prix in Israel, the World Cup in Tashkent or the European Games in Baku.'
Baku will host the European Games on June 12-28.
