Azad Rahimov: heads of 20 states to attend European Games in Baku

The Minister of Youth and Sports, Azad Rahimov, said in an interview to Rossiyskaya Gazeta that Azerbaijan expects the participation of at least two dozen heads of state and government at the opening of the First European Games.

The minister noted that a member of the International Olympic Committee, Prince Albert II of Monaco, and the Grand Duke of Luxembourg first pre-confirmed their presence. "The number of heads of European states who will come to Baku will be announced closer to the start of the Games. We expect more than 20 heads of state," he said.
