Frantisek Lavrinets, League observer, said that the former president of the Russian Football Union (RFU) Nikolai Tolstoy has done a lot in order for Russian football to take a worthy place in the structure of European football.
"I have two reasons for speaking. I would like to thank Tolstoy for his enormous contribution to the development of domestic and European football. He has done a lot so that Russian football could take a worthy place in the structure of European football. The second reason is that my friend Nikita Simonyan asked me about it," RIA Novosti cites him as saying.
