The head coach of the football team Anzhi Makhachkala, Gadzhi Gadzhiyev, has received the highest award of Dagestan - the Order of Merit of the Republic of Dagestan.
The award was handed to Gadzhiyev on the president's order for his great contribution to the development of sport.
Gadzhiyev was 65 on his last birthday.
