No analogue for Olimpstroy to be created for 2018 World Cup

The Russian government has no plans to create a structure similar to
the state corporation Olimpstroy for the World Cup in 2018, First
Deputy Prime Minister Igor Shuvalov informed the media, RIA Novosti
reports.

On the 2nd of December Russia won the right to host the World Cup in 2018.

The Olimpstroy company was created in 2007, due to the fact that
Russia won the right to host the Olympics in Sochi in 2014. The main
activities of the corporation are connected with the construction of
facilities for the Olympics.
