Figure-skating training center to open in Stavropol and ice-hockey arena for Vladikavkaz

A figure-skating training center will be moved to Stavropol after the
Olympic Games in Sochi.


According to the TV company ‘Stavropolye’, 4 of the 14 sports
facilities will move to Stavropol, 2 will change their functions, 8
will retain their functions.


Russian President Dmitry Medvedev said that the minor ice arena for
ice-hockey will move to Vladikavkaz, the curling arena – to
Rostov-on-Don, the training arena for ice-hockey – to Astrakhan and
the figure-skating training center – to Stavropol. The roofed skating
center will be turned into an exhibition center, the ice center for
figure-skating will be redesigned as a cycle track.
