The Resorts of the North Caucasus company and the Krasnodar Territory have signed agreements on construction of the special economic zone called Lago-Naki. The document was signed by the Vice-Governor of the region Jambulat Khatuov and chairman of the company’s board Ahmed Bilalov, Yuga.ru reports.
The Lago-Naki resort varies in height from 1609 to 2450 meters above the sea level, the Department of Complex Development of Resorts and Tourism in the Krasnodar Territory said.
The resort will serve 28,000 people daily. There will be rooms for 16,600 people. The complex will have 28 elevation devices. There will be 164 km of routes.
Kuban authorities will finance construction of social infrastructure.
Lago-Naki is a federal tourism project. It is part of the tourism cluster of the North Caucasian Federal District, Krasnodar Territory and Adygeya. 450 billion rubles will be provided. Construction of the infrastructure facilities will be realized by federal funds of the Russian Investment Fund.
