Followed by France, Austria has decided to join the tourism project in
the North Caucasus. Vienna will hold a forum on ski resorts of the
North Caucasus on June 6, Yuga.ru reports.
The Resorts of the North Caucasus Company will sign a cooperation deal
with Austria for construction and designing of resorts. The director
of the company's board, Ahmed Bilalov, said that he will hold
investment negotiations with a set of European companies.
Besides resorts in Adygeya and Krasnodar Territory, the company is
involved in other tourism projects of the North Caucasian Federal
District, such as the Caspian resorts and the Mineralniye Vody resorts
of the Caucasus.
Over 80 European companies will attend discussions, invited by the
Austrian government.
The Russian and French presidents will sign a memorandum on
cooperation in tourism in the North Caucasus.
The Resorts of the North Caucasus Company and the French bank Caisse
des Depots et Consignations will establish a joint-stock company for
construction of ski resorts in Adygeya, Kabardino-Balkaria,
Karachay-Cherkessia, North Ossetia and Dagestan.
Those were the first investments for local resorts.
