8% of Russians plan to take their vacation on the coast of the Black
Sea this year, Yuga.ru reports.
The All-Russian Public Opinion Research Center held polling on May
28-29. 1600 people in 138 cities of 46 regions were questioned.
Most Russians plan to spend their vacations at home (56%) or in the
countryside (19%). 32% of citizens of Moscow and 36% of
Saint-Petersburg prefer to vacation in their dachas.
9% said that they will visit other cities. 8% will visit the Black Sea
coast, 5% - the Baltic Sea.
Sociologists say that the number of Russian visitors to the Black Sea
rose from 6% in 2004 to 11% in 2011.
Only 2% of Russians will take holidays abroad. 16% of Moscow's and 10%
of Saint-Petersburg's citizens will visit foreign states.
Most Russian children prefer to spend holidays at home (42%) or at a
dacha (18%).
12% of parents plan to send their children to camps. 9% of families
with children will visit the Black Sea coast, 8% - visit Russia, 5% -
abroad, 3% - CIS states.
6% of people questioned said that they plan to send their children or
grandchildren to relatives, 2% - on trips.
