North Caucasian resorts to develop a program of eco-tourism

The expert corporation "Resorts of the North Caucasus” has begun
developing an eco-educational segment of the future tourism cluster of
the North Caucasus in collaboration with environmental experts and
regional specialists. “Along with ski, beach and spa resorts, we
intend to offer our guests in the North Caucasus eco-tourism,” the
Deputy Director General, Rostislav Murzagulov, said today, ITAR-TASS
reports.

He recalled that as early as the coming winter the first cluster will
be built in Arkhyz and will include three hotels, a chairlift and two
ski slopes. "But by the end of the ski season we  will offer new
eco-tourist destinations for those who like to spend the summer in the
mountains," Murzagulov said.

Under the tourism cluster project in the North Caucasus, five new ski
resorts of world-class standards are planned to be built. The total
capacity of the cluster will amount to 150,500.
