The center of Baku will not have buildings taller than 5-7 floors, Jakhangir Gojayev, head of the section for international relations and information of the State Committee for Urban Planning and Architecture, told Trend.
Dovletkhan Dovletkhanov, deputy head of the state committee, said earlier that they had concluded work on project for development of the city center. A report may be presented to the city’s executives by the end of the year.
The plan for center development has measures until 2030. It covers 1500 hectares from the Amay Trade Center to the State Flag Square horizontally and from the Primorsky Avenue to the Bakikhanov Street Vertically.
