The Crimea has held a presentation of its tourism potential in Azerbaijan, ABC reports.
Crimean Minister for Tourism and Resorts Alexander Liyev said that they presented a project on a strategy of bilateral tourism development under the Azerbaijani Ministry for Culture and Tourism.
Negotiations are being held with 4 Azerbaijani air companies, including AZAL, to organize air links with Simferopol and Azerbaijani cities. An information tour will be organized for 60 Azerbaijani tourism business officials in Crimea, then Crimean tourism operators will visit Azerbaijan, Liyev says.
Crimea received 12,000 Azerbaijani visitors in 2010, which is significant, compared with other CIS states. 3 special programs were developed for Azerbaijani tourists.
