Austria provides 900,000 euros for Georgian tourism

 

The Austrian Agency for Integration in Europe and Economic Development has provided Georgia with 900,000 euros for development of regional tourism, Business Georgia reports.

The Holiday Inn Hotel in Tbilisi held a presentation of an EU tourism project. The presentation was opened by Maya Sidamonidze, head of the Georgian National Tourism Agency. The state tourism services of Georgia and Austria started Twinning.

Tourism companies took part in the presentation. They discussed the main aspects of the program, including formation of the Destination Management Organization, improvement of legislature and staff training for tourism.
