The authorities of Sochi are attracting advertising agencies to
develop a new concept for the city's outdoor advertising and new media
advertising formats for the Olympics, RIA Novosti reports, referring to
the city administration.
In preparation for the Sochi 2014 Olympics, the authorities are trying
to improve the look of the city. The changes will affect not only
streets and houses, but also outdoor advertising. First of all, billboards 3 m high and 6 m wide will disappear from the city
center. New high-tech modern technologies will be installed in the
streets.
The city authorities are planning to hold an open competition among
advertising agencies.
