Citizens of Russia, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan and Ukraine will be able to visit Croatia this summer without visas

The Croatian Government has abolished the visa regime from April 1 to October 31 for citizens of Azerbaijan, Ukraine, Kazakhstan and Russia, Trend reports with reference to the Croatian newspaper Vecepnji List.

"The decision to cancel visa requirements for citizens of these countries is made ​​for the time of the summer tourist season," says the edition, Ukrinform reports Saturday.

In accordance with established procedures, citizens of these countries - the bearers of valid passports - will be entitled to enter Croatia without visas for up to 90 days within six months from the date of first entry, as well as to transit through its territory. In connection with Croatia’s introduction of compulsory insurance for foreigners, one will have to have international health insurance for the travel.

It is assumed that from the 1st of July 2013 the country will become a full member of the European Union and therefore will not be able to decide on its own about the question of the abolition of visa requirements for third countries.
