The "Siberia" airline (S7 Airlines), which operates joint flights with
Georgian Airways between Moscow and Tbilisi, will begin operating
direct flights from Moscow to Batumi from May 31, Interfax reports
referring to the representative of the S7 in Georgia, Paata Kamarauli.
Kamarauli noted that flights in the direction of Batumi will continue
throughout the summer season.
According Kamarauli, the airline is also planning to resume flights on
the Moscow-Kutaisi-Moscow route, which had to be suspended in
connection with the reconstruction of the airport in Kutaisi later
this year.
