The Northern Caucasus Resorts has organized a presentation of its tourism projects for highland villagers of Bezengi in the Chereksky District and Bulungu of the Chegemsky District of Kabardino-Balkaria, the places where the Elbrus-Bezengi skiing complex would be built, ITAR-TASS reports.
Mahti Temirzhanov, head of administration of the Chereksky Municipal District, Kabardino-Balkarian Minister for Sports, Tourism and Resorts Aslan Afaunov and Minister for Economic Development and Trade Aliy Musukov attended the presentation.
The Northern Caucasus Resorts offers support for everyone interested in developing own business within the framework of the tourism project. They may get the status of residents of exclusive economic zones. It will benefit family hotels, restaurants, sales of national souvenirs.
All the necessary infrastructure facilities will be built without doing harm to ecology and biological diversity.
The Ministry for Sports, Tourism and Resorts of Kabardino-Balkaria organized social polls. Over 90% of people questioned in the Chereksky District and 98% in the Chegemsky District approve formation of the tourism cluster.
