The construction of the first camping center in Georgia in Kobuleti on
the Black Sea coast will be completed in late August, Georgia Online
reports. The cost of accommodation will be only two laris (about $1.2), the buffet will cost only 5 laris (about $3).
The facility will be able to accommodate up to 200 guests at any one time.
The tourist authorities of Kobuleti hope that the low prices will attract
more tourists to the region.
Kobuleti is a resort town in Adjara, 21 kilometres north of Batumi. In
Soviet times it was considered to be one of the best resorts on the
Black Sea coast.
