The Mamison Recreation Complex in North Ossetia may become the world’s best skiing resort, CEO of the Northern Caucasus Resorts Ahmed Bilalov said, ITAR-TASS reports.
He praised the basis for communications of the complex. It has gas and water supply, electricity and a road under construction. The resort zone will have construction in 2013-2014.
The Mamison Resort was built at the Alagirsky and Irafsky Districts of North Ossetia near the Mamison Gorge. It will operate all-year round and will be comparable with well-known resorts of France, England and the US. The Zaramag Glacier will skiing conditions comfortable even in the summer.
Bilalov says that Russian skiers may prepare for competitions there and will not need to travel abroad.
