The North Caucasus tourist project has been presented to attendees of the international investment exhibition Global-2012 in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
The project is sponsored by the Russian government, which believes that investment in the region's economy and establishment of new jobs will prevent an increase of terror and crime in the Caucasus. The policy is vehemently criticized by Russian far-right politicians.
