Three tourists from Austria stuck on the Shkhara Mountain (Bezengiysky Gorge, Kabardino-Balkaria) at a height of 4200m after an avalanche were rescued, Interfax-South reports.
The Austrian Embassy warned rescuers about the problem on Sunday. Severe weather forced rescuers to start evacuation on Monday. A mi-8 of the North Caucasus Regional Center of the Russian Ministry for Emergencies left Mineralniye Vody to save them on Monday.
