Chechnya's Veduchi Resort joins North Caucasus Tourism Cluster

The Veduchi Resort in the Itum-Kalinsky Municipal District (Chechnya) has joined the North Caucasus Tourism Cluster, Yuga.ru reports.


A trilateral agreement of the Russian Ministry for Economic Development, Chechen government and the municipal district will be signed to form an exclusive economic zone.


Sergey Vereshchagin, Director General of the Northern Caucasus Resorts, noted the importance of Veduchi. 14.5 billion rubles will be invested in the resort. Veduchi will have 19 ski tracks with a total length of 46km built. 12,000 tourists an hour will be able to use the tracks. The resort will serve about 4,800 tourists a day.
